Services

Sighthound Boarding & Recall Residential

Two services, both sighthound-only and both run from my home in North London: relaxed home boarding, and an intensive seven-night Residential Recall programme. Greyhounds, whippets, lurchers, salukis, deerhounds and their crosses, never any other breed.

Up to eight dogs are licensed to stay at any time, which keeps the house calm and the attention personal.

● Home from home

Boarding

£85 per night · minimum 24 hours

Home boarding for sighthounds in a climate-controlled home with a 350ft secure private garden, never a kennel. Your hound joins a small, calm pack and is walked every day on Hampstead Heath and North London’s open spaces.

  • Daily walks included on the Heath and nearby open spaces
  • Raw food included throughout the stay
  • Daily WhatsApp photo and video updates
  • Collection and drop-off across Hampstead, Highgate and Islington
  • 5-star licensed for eight dogs, so numbers stay small and the attention stays high

Sighthounds only, never mixed with breeds that don’t share their temperament. Everything is built around how these dogs actually behave.

Recall Residential

£850 seven-night residential

An intensive, e-collar-based recall programme for the hardest cases: dogs with no recall whatsoever, and high-prey-drive hounds that zone out and stop responding to commands the moment something moves. Your hound lives with me for seven nights while we build reliable off-lead recall in the real world, day after day, rather than in a one-hour slot once a week.

The e-collar is a communication tool, individually calibrated to your dog. At the working level it is a gentle muscle pulse, no stronger than a tap on the shoulder, never a shock, and it reaches a sighthound through the wall of adrenaline that a long line never can.

  • Sighthound-specific recall, building the Big Six: Recall, Stay, Wait, Sit, Down and Heel
  • Specialist e-collar conditioning, calibrated to your individual dog
  • Residential boarding, raw food and daily updates included throughout
  • Written protocol and aftercare so the recall keeps building once your hound is home

How we begin

Every hound starts with a meet and greet and a one-night assessment. That first night tells me how your dog handles a new home, where the recall stands, and how to tailor what follows. Sighthounds think differently from retrievers and collies, so I train with that in mind: lower repetition, higher reward, and full respect for the prey-drive response that shapes everything these dogs do.
